In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
It makes my work feel less like work and more like living!
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
It means accepting the unavoidable role of “participant,” and choosing to be an active one rather than a passive one. I started hunting at 23, and although I’ve always spent time outdoors, nothing has made me so fiercely aware of my place within the autonomy, fragility, and tenacity of the ecosystems around me.
