Sackitey Tesa is a self-taught photographer and stylist born in Sekondi-Takoradi which is located in the Western region of Ghana. He started his photographic journey after completing his first degree in 2017. Over the past few years, he has experimented with different genres of photography including still-life photography and documentary photography. His current interest lies in conceptual photography and how fashion or styling can be used for storytelling.
In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
A lot of the images I create draw inspiration from the things I see around me. I am always exploring how objects in everyday life can be seen in a new light.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
For me it means that I have a role to play in ensuring prosperity of the ecosystem.
