Alba Yruela (La Bisbal d’Empordà, 1989) grew up in the Catalonian region of Empordà, where she developed her passion for nature. She likes to photographs her surroundings, nature, friends and lovers from an intimate and delicate, yet direct point of view. She works in various media, shooting portraits, still life, fashion and video. Alba's images have been exhibited in Paris, Los Angeles, London and Barcelona. She has currently published a dozen books, including her main and latest work "Diaris 2009-2019", a beautiful and thoughtful testimony of her own intimacy. Where biographical recollection meets work that explores form, color and light, Alba Yruela has brought together more than 500 images taken during a period of ten years.
