In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
Nature and wildlife have always inspired my work. More recently, when taking photographs I have noticed that even though I am in awe of its beauty I am also mourning it in some way. A statistic that is always very present in my head is that according to the UN Environment Programme, scientists estimate that 150-200 species of plants, insects, birds, and mammals become extinct every 24 hours.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
To me, being a part of a thriving ecosystem means to coexist in harmony and peace with all living things.
