In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
A specificity of Western contemporary culture is that most of us live far removed from the consequences of our actions, unaware of the interconnected dimension of all things that are nature. My job as a journalist is precisely to unveil the links between our human decisions and environmental phenomena.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
A thriving ecosystem is one whose resources are protected and not depleted, where community has priority over profit, and immediate gains do not obfuscate the significance of the future ahead.
