In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
I often think about evolution on our planet, and how every plant and animal has developed in response to another and to the land we all live on. Being in nature reminds me of this truth… the truth that humans were given the ability to create and think critically, because above all our only purpose here is just to be able to experience the beauty that is the world we get to be a part of. Our art, our writing, our gratitude are all an ode to that truth. It is a truth that Atmos bases itself on.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
I believe the relationships (non-human) that exist in nature can really set an example for how we (human) can organize and relate to one another. An ecosystem is much like a community; at times delicately balanced, and yet also elaborate + diverse. Atmos functions in much of the same way, and every person on this team is here to fill a role. To be a part of a thriving ecosystem is to value everyone’s part (both big and small).
