Salomé Gómez-Upegui is a bilingual Colombian-American writer based in Miami, Florida. Her work focuses on feminism, art, social justice, and nature.
In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
I’m constantly inspired by nature’s rhythms. I seek to live my life mirroring its easeful, unhurried pace.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
It means constantly remembering that we are all one. Everything we do to each other—the good and bad—we are ultimately doing to ourselves.
