In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
Nature and being connected to nature for me has a huge impact on my life in general. It motivates me and keeps me balanced and feeling positive, I can feel the positive effect of being in a wide open space, be it coastal or inland. It influences me in so many ways creatively but it also gives me a sense of balance and much needed distraction to what can be a very fast paced and chaotic industry.
The two somehow inform each other for me, I could not work in the fashion industry and live in a city like London without having a degree of separation from the intensity and fast paced lifestyle, being in nature helps me feel calm and is the perfect way to regain a sense of balance and focus.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
I think a thriving ecosystem is dependent on a mutual respect and compassion for one another and for our environment.
