Venetia La Manna (she/her) is a fair fashion campaigner. Throughout her social media platforms, Venetia challenges fashion brands who are costing the earth and calls out corporations on their unethical practices. She is a co-founder of Remember Who Made Them, which aims to energise a new solidarity economy in fashion and seeks to uplift the voices and demands of garment makers. In 2023, she presented a documentary called The Fast Furniture Fix for BBC Radio 4. She is featured in the Channel 4 documentary Inside the Shein Machine.
In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
I try to follow the threads of our clothes to inform my work. When you trace them back, those threads come from our beautiful Earth.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
It’s one where we see ourselves as citizens, not consumers.
