In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?

Humans are part of nature, but the dominant culture in the U.S. where I live holds humans apart from nature. I’m interested in breaking down that barrier, reversing the usual hierarchies. In what ways might other species be equally or even more accomplished than humans? Can we make space for our own kind within the natural world? Can we make space for other species in environments designed for us?

What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?

It means…a sense of abundance! The abundance that comes from thought and care.
