In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?

I’m inspired by the magnificence and mundanity of nature every day. I try through my work to be in service to its cycles and systems. To find healing with and through it. To nurture a space where it can thrive on its own terms, and as a place where just and joyful human communities can flourish.

What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?

I once said to my husband that I like to know the names of the trees because then I feel like whenever I go for a walk, I’m with my friends. So, being part of a thriving ecosystem means being in a relationship of mutual care and intimate awareness with the world around me.
