Marlen Mueller is a female photographer with a focus in fashion, portrait and documentary. She was born in 1988 in Erfurt, Germany. In 2011 she graduated from the Bauhaus University Weimar after studying Media, Art and Design. Since 2010 she has lived with her family between Berlin and Thuringia. Marlen’s favorite colour is blue.
In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
Most of my work is inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of nature. I work very intuitively and always try to bring in a lot of energy and emotions that only nature can give me.
In nature I feel grounded and safe. And that is really important for my work.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
We are all connected to the ecosystem and thus influence each other. There is something very beautiful in that, but also something very fragile. And it reminds us all to protect it every day.
