Han Yang is a visual artist and photographer based in London. Her practice weaves together fashion, nature, and posthuman theory, creating surreal yet intimate images that investigate identity, ritual, and the body in transition.

In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?

Nature inspires me as a teacher of impermanence and transformation. Its cycles of bloom and erosion remind me that identity, like landscapes, is never fixed but always becoming. My images often use organic forms to reflect this sense of fragile continuity.

What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?

It means belonging to a web of relationships where growth is collective, not solitary. Like forests or coral reefs, creative ecosystems thrive when each part supports the others, reminding me that my work gains meaning through collaboration, exchange, and mutual care.
