Georgia Wright (she/they) is a writer, artist, and audio producer based in Providence, Rhode Island. Her multidisciplinary work is informed by the natural world and its state of climate crisis, as well as themes of queerness and obsession.

Georgia is the co-creator of the acclaimed youth climate podcast Inherited (YR Media x Critical Frequency). She is a community organizer, an amateur rock climber, and an occasional singer. Her alter ego moonlights in drag on very special occasions only.

In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?

I’m often awed by the transformative power of nature, and astonished by the lengths humans will go to seize that power –  or, more admirably, to protect it.

What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?

1. sustaining creative, collaborative experimentation with others
2. loving and caring for both human and nonhuman neighbors
3. seeking mindfulness and presence
