Erwann Petersen is a French-Danish photographer and director. His work is a balance between the study of everyday objects, documentary fashion, travels and landscape photography. After growing up in the south of France, he then went to Paris to study at the École Supérieure de Realisation Audiovisuelle. Since then, he has lived in Paris and London, working for clients such as Saint Laurent, Guerlain, Dolce & Gabbana, Polène, and Aigle.
In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
Nature is the only source of inspiration I can think of. As a nature person living in a big city, I find it essential to get out and observe. Even in the busiest places the sky is always above!
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
Always considering the consequences of our actions on others, rather than just our own personal comfort!
