In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
Looking at the nature around me daily is my biggest source of inspiration. I mean really looking, which I have to train myself to do. Being really present lets you discover glimmers of color in water, the way a light grazes a leaf, infinite variations of skies… This is what I see, and it is what I aim to share with the world. I find very intriguing the idea of a digital nature, a synthetic world filled with species out of my imagination, at the cross between technology and magic.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
Everyday I remind myself that I am a tiny dot, part of an immense network of dots who all need each other. It brings me so much comfort and a deep sense of responsibility to know that we are all connected to the water we drink, the food we eat, the creatures around us.
