In what ways does nature inspire or inform your work?
Nature has always played an important role in my life and mental well-being. From growing up in the Hill Country in Texas to spending days walking around New York City community parks, nature helps me to decompress and re-align my energy to focus on my goals for the future.
What does it mean to you to be part of a thriving ecosystem?
Being part of a thriving ecosystem means living a life of mindfulness and respecting the environment. One where summer temperatures are not reaching record-breaking numbers each year, and winters are as cold as they have historically been. It also means educating my peers and family members on why we should reduce our carbon footprints and helping them to create positive changes in their life.
